Separation Anxiety

Well, I'm in lower Belize. Pretty rustic, that's kind.

Gots the internets but no cell phones. Before we set out on missions to capture the Jaguar Yeti and such, will drop one for you as I clear my hard drive.

Many Labors of Labor Days

Congratulations to the US men's soccer academy and penalty expedition for managing a slight thump of lowly El Salvador. See you in South Africa ladies. No slight to El Salvador, who looked pretty handsome in those blue unis. Hard to imagine Benny Feilhaber may make the trip, while Lionel Messi catches up on Law and Order reruns.

The entirely brilliant Balsleys arrived on Saturday. We hit for the cycle - Barton Springs, Broken Spoke, the Salt Lick (aka the Hyatt Driftwood), San Jose, Polvos, Zilker Park. Dad had many beers, many calories, a mighty chuckle or two.
