Paint as a Fragrance

The patriots are a little bummed about the Gold Cup result. Did not expect to put two on the hombres. Did also not expect to then concede four. Time to get the cleats out. My motivational left foot demands an audience.

Charles suggested, from some industry history, that bands only have 50 good songs in them. We saw the Archers play the other night, they played all 50 of theirs. I tend to agree. Couldn't think on any exceptions. Even AC/DC. Maybe Bob Pollard, if Striped White Jets counts. We're pulling for you Coldplay, 49 to go.

And some video from the birthday:

Morning surprise:

Hung the swing just in time for the party:

Trips the Light Fandango

The Skinny Jibber celebrated her birthday today, mostly in the front yard. Her posse and handlers attended. Mom had the place set up royal, the house accommodates a small fleet of small feet. Usual service: burgers, fancy dogs, stuff with cheese and sugar in it. Jane picked out her outfit solo - tutu bathing suit, tiara, ladybug wings. Seconds before the mayhem:

Things immediately got interesting. Red Bobo, a towering, 14 foot inflatable. Terrifying, though the kids found it a guffaw factory. We could only power her up in doses, due to noise and general rubbernecking.

Jane was in the cake zone quickly.

Grill general and meat lords.

The scene at 609 Deep Eddy.

Many of these pictured with child or children.

August, exuding June.

Henry, running out of watermelon.

The ballerina princess cake, pre face stuffing.

Ritual candle handling... and sharing the day with Xander (who incidentally blew out both cake's worth of candles)

And sprinklers.

With swings.

Modelling new threads. Thanks Grandma!

Post show, new bathing suit, new sprinkler.

Good party, all you out of towners missed. Crazy video coming tomorrow I think.

A mention, saw the Archers last night at Emo's. Genius. Ended with Nostalgia, perfect.

Riblets

Tomorrow is Jane's third birthday. She's getting a bobo, which we'll discuss tomorrow. To celebrate early, we hit Smitty's with the Perakos clan, Peter and Henry, for rib breakfast. Delish. Jane and Henry ate a loaf of whitebread, and at least a pound of government cheese. The adults did terrible things.

Protecting the bathroom.

Congrats to the Men's National Soccer team for thumping those baddies, Canada.

Boogie Knights / Scanning During How I met Your Mother

Moving has yielded some gems. Kids, hide your parents.

Couple of Vapneks with Pumpkin Wentzel, sometime in like '97.

Troy, bangin'.

The only other known baby pic of me.

Mark Ibold. Trax? Maybe '96.

The Bowl years.

Morning papers, 179 N. 10th street.

Nerds in mom jeans. How did we get away with this?

And, the original CLAMS.

Very close to having interior pics ready of new house.
