The HH Liver Constitutional and Contact Buzz

Hurray hurrah, Hawes and Ambriel! Made married and all in such smashing fashion.

This epic long weekender going down on the North Fork of Strong Island, Southoldish.

Certainly one for the ages, all of them. Many childrens witness to the events. Many McKennas also in the house(s). The perfect storm of nice clothes and no clothes.

The Miss Minnows of McKenna manor, day one, wampum expedition.

HH and the godchild. They have a certain understanding. AKA cheese please.

Stone Foxes (did not perform).

The HH weekend escape, scene of the Thursday face feeding. Pretty idyllic spot, dreamy even.

Things got party on late night - rumpussing, ritual eating of the Swedish fish.

Handsome Handsome & Handsome LTD.

The banana-off. Clee eats spinach shakes, Jane finished a box of cheese-its.

Think this is rehearsal dinner stuff. Henry II applying the shocker, pre-toast.

Vows and joyous wedding aside, my favorite portion from the run-of-show - heavy face melting.

THE IN LAWS

THE BESTMEN

AND THE ROCK APPRECIATION SOCIETY

HOT FANS, literally.

Groomsmen, on tie detail and photo safari.

The Flower Gurls. Thank you Lucy and Gigi!

Scene from behind the scenes.

Bride and groom, on the verge of cocktailing. Best dressed for sure.

Silhouettes of French Kickers.

Leg shaking. The band induced knee sweat they were so right and tight.

The sinister minister, about to be a pops.

The Haunted Tree. McKennas in repose.

The Best Man attended the after party, what was left of the liver, begone!

On a day of hangovers, these kids are all perks.

Take us out, Lady Jane.

Congrats, congrats, and a thousand thank yous from camp McKenna. What a treat.

Now don't shit the bed Team USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

30 Pounds of Princess / Two Tons of Fun

The Bug turneth two today.

We have been celebrating since CoCo arrived, Thursday.

She's grown about a foot since this time last week - and has taken on some new vocabulary: "Buns" being the best of that bunch. Doc says she's tall and that galloping is a decent indication she's coachable.

We had a very good week / weekend, including the WC fever that has struck the living room and inbox.

Miss Minnow, fresh from the tub. Very difficult to apply pants these days, freestyling in the birthday suit seems to be the preferred outfit at 1402 Drake.

Princessing around Austin, mid week.

Playing farm, surveying the farm.

Co-engineer, various robot alien bird projects.

Coco's arrival, complete with new dresses, dolls, jingles and call / response mechanisms.

Mom's masterpiece:

New wheels, both kinds:

Way past bedtime.

And the block building from today, we got new ammo.

Thank youse from Jane to all who made it out, called, gifted, well wished, etc. She's very lucky to have such back-up.

Observations.

Germany proves again it's one of two teams who can play / travel outside Europe, tough tough out. The Italians being the other, sadly.

France is hopeless.

England is rattled.

Africa overmanned, entirely.

US gets lucky, finally, shows just enough to merit advancement.

Argentina remains a mystery, Messi could light this one up.

Look forward to seeing how the Dutch, Danes and Brazilians fare. The latter should clean up, as usual. On paper and historically, only team that'll give the Gerrys fits.

Sticking to my hunch that Spain implodes under yoke of expectations.

June salutes all of you.

Sunday is Happy Jerry Day

A message to Jerry on June 6th:

Love, Janebug

(I couldn't capture the singing on video, but I got audio, so no need to adjust your monitor)

"Hey Kid, I got a Seahorse"

Another recent classic "hey lady, where's my mudda?"

Hill Country Roadtrip, Saturday. Austin > Blanco > Comfort > Kerrville > Medina > Bandera > Boerne > New Bruanfels.

Eleven hours in the mom vehicle.

This for two reasons - rad flags in baronial Texas, and evidence that we rocked some kind of cowboy winery. They were doing a brisk business at the tasting table. Lots of pass throughs, on the way to the bird kill.

Driving these kinds of things.

Comfort - good sandwiches, real German tourists, and old stuff that's not remotely from Comfort.

This beast licked the passenger window, slo-mo.

This beast, just licked.

Medina, which was entirely closed at 4:45PM. Pussies!

Sunday meander to Hamilton Pool, which is more like Hoff planet without the ice pack and search droids.

On news that the pool was closed due to bacterial infestation.

Monday park action. Some sweaty cheetah asked me about my man purse. I engaged, on account of the dolphin tattoo on her ankle. One of us achieved total victory.

From the Newman Memorial Picnic, year two attendance for the McKennas.

Stuff making me nuts:

FREE ENERGY
Shitty Richard Kelly movies
Pork per pound at the hold (your ass up) foods
Natural peanut butter

The birdfeeder on empty, always
The birdshit on the hood of the vehicle, always

Stuff making us Party:

My Chik Bad (thanks Niems)
The Return of FNL (Landry and Tammy sightings this week)
Blocks
Robots
Monsters
Manners

And in case you're not on the facedbook:
