Wembley'd

Just back from the UK. Redeye to London Friday, straight to Wembley for the England v. Slovakia friendly. Smashing time. 4 months worth of work realized in 90 minutes. First time in that venue, first time for team England. Like nothing you'll experience here, maybe an Ohio St. game, but without the tackling.

G20 protests, on the road to the stadium. Awesome.

From the train, lovely. Pissed on us the minute we arrived.

It is rather massive.

Pitch, game time.

Four fingers for four goals. Rooney 2X, Lampard, Heskey. Got to see Crouch play, Bex had an assist. Looked good in the new kit.

Our windows at Lilywhites. This is why I don't get around to writing thank you notes that often.

You can check out the ads we made here:

Of note, when I left for work this morning, Jane pointed at me and barked "da da". Genius. I went to pieces.

Busy Beavers

Not us!
Josh & Mary Margaret have been the busy Beavers. Cooking up a chooch of their own, coming this fall!
This is the look I got from Jane when I told her she'd be getting another cousin to boss around.
GrandBeavers are obviously thrilled.

Meanwhile, Jane went to the park with Claudia last week...
And then she went to the Fette Sau with Mom & Dad.
Got a new computer this week. Prompted me to do a massive office cleanup and I found lots of funny pics on old disks. A+W at the NC Society dance, 2001:
Austin was in London all weekend. His girls missed him terribly. I'm sure he'll have something to add to all this upon his return... Until then, xo Winz

Nudie Suit & Lady Shileileigh

We are shocked that more people weren't wearing green on St. Fatty's Day. When I was coming up, that was a pinchable offense. Mom remains shocked that dad didn't do a better job on pictures on the holiday - C.B. / M.J. combining to create some wonderments. In any case, Uncle JJ hosted yet another stormer, we were early in, early out, good crew up to the challenge. JJ has a new neon Guinness sign hanging in the den - further shocked we didn't think of this first. Highlights:

In theme, I went to see the Cletics play the Heat at the Boston Garden Wednesday, traveling with my friend Charles Charles MaGalls. One too many hot wings for the A-Man. Turns out the "best burger in Boston" is barely feedable to humankinds.

We are in a couple tournament bracket playoff systems. As usual, looking for a bottom ten percent finish. Disappointed that the ACC punked out in the 1st round, pulling for the Heels on account of Tiny B and the Lady Beaver. Pleased the Dookies stuck it to RICK BARNES and his thuggish longhorns. Jane picked the Coppin State Academy Rangers to win it all.

Saw this on our adventures Saturday. Wish someone would call me the party weapon.

For the out of staters, this is what the beerhall looks like before dad cleans them out of draft option #2.

And one.

Getting treatment during the hour of beauty.

NSFW!

Flashing gang signs on the way to the fund raiser.

A little QT with Aunt Sara at the Coney Island Prep Fund Raiser, somebody scoffawed at the notion of corporal punishment, ate macaroons and generally misbehaved during the speech. We've already readied a drawer for the conduct slips.

Finally, managed a jaunt to Cobble Hill for a pricey lunch at Char #4. They have like a thousand bourbons on the walls. Stuck with pickles and a cold one, JB dozed, call it a snoozer.

Jane's going to Daycare tomorrow, a first. Expect a melt down. Dad's headed to England to see England play in Wembley. Melt down expected there as well.

Cheers mates,

McKennas

Spider Pig & the Silver Comet

Weird week. Everybody's noses are running. Generating mountains of Kleenex. Watched a lot of hoops and premiership soccer, napping to pretend the recession isn't happening. Decent weather this weekend, so lots of adventures in the hood during our constitutionals. Ready for spring, ready for mandals.

Here's the bug, auditioning for the world's strongest man contest.

Hint as to where this is headed, once the hair cooperates. To that end, we did run some tests.

Big beers again, Friday. Joined by the Jake, Michelle, Mike. Kids hit the wall at the hall hard. Stuck with half liters so there was a Saturday this time.

We made it to McGorklick Park on Saturday. Might as well been Paris with these fashions and gear.

We couldn't figure out what happens here, but we like it.

My new series, straw birds in the window and their view.

And finally, what I get to wake up to.

The Green Hornet

Forgot the camera 3X this weekend, so relying on the kindness of others for the front end of this long player. Computers also failing us at 88 India, we are near upgrades at every position. Doubt this will affect the quality of this enterprise whatsoever.

I had the nibbler on Friday, mom out with the very awesome perp / vic. Brought JB over to see the Bryce ladies, who were in smashing form. Lucy handled the bottle duties. WTB on camera pics. Dads ate pizzas. Good shizz.

HH got the band back together on Saturday. The band has made two babies since we last played. Rusty, but anxious to crush the new studio in Basement Bozlich. Music, not so good, food - mazzle tov. King George revved up, very in the house. Everyone pooping. Great times. Snaps to AF. Frag on event horizon.

We rolled into 11211 on Sunday. Jane photographed in what could be my new fave outfit. Head turner, this one. Matched mom, dad bringing down the handsome quotient.

This one's for C.B.
