JB/CB

Fang Toothsome had a visitor this week, Grandma Beaver - aka C.B. - rolled up from Queens Rd. West for much needed TLC. Jane feeling better, mom still in the dumps. Dad's immune system, buttressed by Zwyiec and two a day weekend naps, seems to have dodged the germage in the interim.

Mom and Dad McKenna, meanwhile, were sighted in SF, doling out pinches to the close cousin Clee.

Because everyone loves these stove top shots, here are Oscar Carnitas, Charo Beans, Chicken Lime soup, in process.

On Thursday, the girls all collapsed on music class. Jane in her Amish threads, doing the butter churner.

Series from the adventures of Blonde Beard, straight outta Rompton. Top by Ambriel, bottom by Cruise Clothes.

Couple from the Saturday expedition to the barrier peaks:

Finally, mixing it up with the Bryce girls at Roberta's. JB ate split pea soup, bread, oxtail and another menu.

Bookending the irrelevant ephemera, A-man's fave records of the nineties, much tougher than the double zeros. Toadies / Local H / 7 Mary 3 just barely missing the cut.

1. Slanted and Enchanted - Pavement
2. Anodyne - Uncle Tupelo
3. Supersonic Storybook - Urge Overkill
4. Bee Thousand - GBV
5. Congregation - Afghan Whigs
6. Icky Mettle - Archers of Loaf
7. Celebrate the New Dark Age - Polvo
8. Spiderland - Slint
9. Viva Last Blues - Palace Brothers
10. Foolish - Superchunk

Thinking we may not get diversity on this list till we hit the 70's.

Gonna be a brutal week. Could counter with meatballs.
