Daddy Feedbags

Bottle #1 just went down hatch. I guess the idea is that if I can cover a feeding, mom gets extra rest so she can be twice as spry at 4:30AM. We tried to administer the bottle on Friday, but daddy miscalculated the strength of the special beer he had and plans were postponed till the sea legs returned.

Loads of white hot visitor action this week. Grandma McKenna returned, sadly, to PHX on Thursday. So we've been winging it since. Left behind 11lbs. of lasagna, so we're not entirely empty handed. Loved having the Grandmoms here, demand for pictures is staggering now that they've left, so trying to make up for slow posting schedule, usurped by triage on the changing table, work, etc.

Read some books finally, found out babies have been found to carry mountains of non stick teflon in their cord blood. Probably do it for me for the literature.

Pair from the airport send-off.

And for the visitors - we had Uncle Don Don over for a viewing on Monday. He's got a biscuit cooking. Hands like catcher's mitts, we expect a run for father of the year from the Cordani faction:

Marty popped by Thursday. Baby Jane extraordinarily well behaved. Marty has pro-performance marketable arm sling technique.

Baby euphoria from the McHarpers. Cocktails at 24 Powers Saturday afternoon. Lucy and Gigi got to meet the junebug for the first time. Lucy suggested a book that Jane could read to make her an official "teeny tiny baby". Wanted to know when the mush food starts. Good question.

Couple of glamor shots.

On Saturday we launched an expedition to the barrier peaks. 2.5 miles in the stroller, went all terrain. The girls got all bossed up for the occasion, hats and shizz.

Finally, we have Winz's cuz Lissy in the house, and got a double dose of Beaver when Howie and Courtney dropped by. Upped the technology option and went B&W for the occasion.

Atom eyes!
