Hallowectomy

I think I did alright executing Her Highness' wishes. There were some last-minute changes of course. Like how, after cutting out the red sparkly crown, the art director suddenly decided she wanted green, and the change to white ballet shoes, but overall, it turned out well. She had 4 opportunities to wear it, and by night-of, hair was in a bun and the necklace was added. Trick-or-treating was a hit in the new neighborhood.

Daddy really stepped it up on the pumpkin carving front this year. All FOUR family members are represented.

Here's our sweet nephew/Jane's cousin: Chicken McNugget.

Early the next morning, we arrived at the Pediatric Surgery Center for Jane's adenoidectomy!
She was very calm in the pre-op room...

Came out looking like this:

Then there was this:

We came home and took naps (all of us), and she woke up like her old self. We already see a difference in her nose stuffiness, and she's doing great.

Other stuff we've been up to lately.... Cooking!
She loves getting on her stepstool and having "jobs" in the kitchen.

This is what breakfast often looks like:

And finally, a spooky shot of the ghost baby we're cooking.
Just over 6 weeks to go.

xo, Winz
