Das Schinken Löwen!

2 Poops turned 6 months on Saturday. 2 poops is Jane's Indian Name, that's what Claudia tells me when I come from work, after I inquire as to shakes. Speaking of work, started new gig on Monday, hence the radio silence. Do, however, have stuff to report.

For starters, gummy LOVES Shakira.

Mom and I hit the NC Society Ball last Friday. Hilarious. Everybody is either 22 or 62, meaning we had to represent for the fourth decaders. The show goes down at the University Club, which has a strict no photography policy. We obliged, naturally. Broken record demands I point out Hawes yet again slayed his ensemble.

On to the stork report. I thought she'd be crawling by now, but the carriage isn't really cooperating. She can kind of squirm around, and her hands have become useful, everything goes straight to the mouth for gobbling. She's also exploding all of her PJ's, so legs are getting longer. She's about outgrown the pilot inspector station as well, which means new tricks needed from the single parent child oversight committee. We figure she's around 15+ pounds and almost 27".

More meal prep, for dad's edification only. This stuff tastes better than it looks.

Party prep & xmas outfits.

Saturday night shenanigans.

And finally ladies and gentlemen, Taint Rutebega!

Jane and I were a little tuckered after all the hijinks, she's impossibly, predictably, just like her pops when it comes to mouth running exhaustion.

But a rally was inevitable.

Off to Charlotte next Sunday for the Christmas. Jane does not want her two front teeth, has plans to perform blow out kit over DC, will likely chart toothpaste as first food.

Mom says I can't say Happy Holidays, but that and well wishes to the west coasters, phonecians, piedmonters, guy at the beer store, and all the old mates. Much to be thankful for this season, with obvious exemption of the fantasy football result, appalling.

Jane's 6 months - no crawling shouldn't spark the worries in my experience. Sydney (god daughter) didn't start crawling until around 9 months - of course that coincided with her walking, too. I still love my dad's explanation about why I was slower to walk than Todd. He said I felt no need because I could crawl 3 times faster than Todd could walk. HA! Travel safe. xoxo

wonderful blog A+W+J! it's on my list of blogs to check regularly for updates. happy holidays to y'all too, hope the Millard's 4 can catch up in person with the McKenna's 3 sometime soon, though geography toughens the prospect.
