Lucky Granddaughter

So while we still do not have a room for the Chooch in our Brooklyn pad (landlord says the WALL construction will happen next week), the Charlotte grandmother (aka Mama Beav, aka Beavie) has been hard at work on her own nursery. This room is much nicer (not to mention bigger) than what our little lady is going to have in Greenpoint. It will be like going to stay at a really nice hotel. The crib is vintage- both Josh and I slept in it as babies. Mom had it stripped and repainted and had extra bars added to bring it up to current safety standards. She of course also designed all the bedding, curtains, etc. (and embroidered the bumpers). The bookshelves are stocked with toys and books from her own childhood. Pretty cool. Looks like they're hoping for lots of visits- which is fine by me! You can barely see it off to the right, but there's even a posh glider and ottoman in there. We definitely don't have a glider. It will be heaven taking her to Charlotte... Thanks for all your hard work Mom! Its gorgeous! xo Winz
