PART II

Forgot to mention this last post, but one of us is pretty pregnant at this juncture. Beav's last day at work (for a while) is this Friday. Going to see the doc on Thursday to get the last of the ultrasounds. Should be a wild one.

Anyways, the rest of the weekend was equally active. We had houseguests, the lovely Mike and Laura, and much merriment was made between the painting and moving of boxes.

Sunday night was Rem's birthday / housewarming. Their place is awesome. Rem has a man room that got my wheels turning. You know, a place to put your dungeon miniatures and plaster skulls.

Can't get into specifics here, but we're on Rem's back porch, monitoring some NSFW activity courtesy of a neighbor with a trick towel. Park Slope is way more forward than Greenpoint in this regard.

I guess you kind of had to be there. Here's another angle, Bryce going blue blazer, Chinese flip flops AND Guayabera.

Out hostess...on the weekend of her anniversary.

We had to cut out early, to hit the Marlow for meatballs. Made an appointment for one of these:

I think Mike and I stayed up late and watched a Guy Ritchie recent effort. What has four letters and rhymes with bird?

Monday was all boxes and lower back pain. Pics of the new set up coming over once the finishing touches are up and tools stowed. Monday early evening, however, was all about these:

My eyebrows still smell like I have two hot dogs taped on my forehead. Toby gets the gold shoulder for pulling together another epic backyarder.

The chef and the remains of shoulder one:

I am the official photographer of this young lady. Everything I shoot comes up daisies.

Pig pile.

Good times ladies and gentlemen.

I have baby shower pics courtesy of the James here for you too. Waiting for clearance from the com.

Yaos!

Hello Austin and Windsor.......just wanted you to know we appreciate the klambake to help us keep abreast of what is going on up in the big city. Life in the booming metropolis of High Point, NC goes on with work, yardwork, family...mostly Elke's and the joy of an ice cold tall one from time to time....Really just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as the big day comes up. Guess your Godfather and uncle will become a great uncle???? not too sure about that, but excited nonetheless. I can tell that Jeff and Carol are about to burst with happiness and expectations. Hope you are both doing well, feeling well, and loving your new abode. Still hope to drop in sometime when business brings me up that way.....Elke says, "hi" . Love from the High Point Beavers.....
